On Feb 13th, Kevin and my one year anniversary, we left for a 6 hour road trip to pittsburgh. We had an amazing time, saw lots of things we didn't get to last time we went, and a few things we already had. We discovered a few nice places to eat, an amazing antique photo museum, and I nearly knocked Kevin's hat into the river (on accident..). We spent two nights there, we also visited Andy Warhol's grave, and went ghost hunting with the Pittsburgh Paranormal Society. It was an fanastic trip. The view there is probably one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen.
Since then...being a little over a month...I've gotten a second job, which will become my only job after this semester ends at the paper. Its a job with the Elbinger studio in Okemos. I really like it so far, makes me feel like i'm taking strives in the right direction. Starting as a $2 an hour waitress in a russian restaraunt (which I loved the people, dont get me wrong, waitressing just wasn't for me) when I was 18, to a pizza place, to sears portrait studio (we won't go into this one, lets just say, 8 different manager in the span of 3 years...) to photo editor for the Lookout, to an assistant for Doug Elbinger. Maybe my next job will be in a movie studio, if Senator Cassis doesn't ruin Michigan's chances of becoming the next Hollywood that is.
I've been working on filming a Tom Waits music video with my friends Britt and Greer, I'm very excited and I'm so thankful to the people who came to our shoot on saturday, you know who you are. The footage looks fantastic. I can't wait to edit it all together. Soon to our ghost hunters mockumentary will be done and online, hopefully by next week. Until then, heres something we shot in class.
I've decided nows the time to start this blog up again, why? No idea. Just feel like it I suppose. I've started a Antique photo collection this year. And I will randomly post a few of them here and there. I'll do a post about whats been happening in my life soon, I just have to go do something for work now. This is "The Top Hat Gang"

Ohhhh a mistake huh? Like someone hired a basket case who might be slightly compared with this bloke:

For those of you who don't know Kevin and I recently join the south east michigan ghost hunting society. We went on our first investigation this past saturday to Bath michigan, to a little park which is the site of one of the worst school bombings in history. In 1927, and angry farmer Andrew Kehoe, blew up the bath school, and himself, after killing his wife and burning down his own house. He killed 45 some people, most of them being children under the age of 12. Okay, here are our possible Bath EVPs.
This one is really clear, Kevin and I were off by ourselves, I was seeing if I could get a kid to play with my flashlight. At the end you can here someone say "hmmm". Which wasn't either of us.
Again Kevin and I were sort of off by ourselves, over by the church. I was trying to get any spirit to walk by my EMF, and I get a pretty crazy conversation going. I say (The first time) "you have to come walk by this black box I have okay?" and quickly after I say okay you hear a quite little "kay" that sounds like a child. Then I say "Kevins making fun of me" and you hear some people who I know are over in the pavilion laughing, but theres a little "Ha, Hm" over their laughing that sounds closer to me. Then I say "My name is Autumn" and you can clearly hear a little voice respond, I think they're repeating my name, but I can't be sure. Photos coming soon.
