Spam Fridays

"August 1, 2008permalink
While we wish that every post on this blog could be about cool features or other Blogger news, sometimes we have to step in and admit a mistake.

We've noticed that a number of users have had their blogs mistakenly marked as spam, and wanted to sound off real quick to let you know that, despite it being Friday afternoon, we are working hard to sort this out. So to those folks who have received an email saying that your blog has been classified as spam and can't post right now, we offer our sincere apologies for the trouble.

We hope to have this resolved shortly, and appreciate your patience as we work through the kinks.
— Brett"

Ohhhh a mistake huh? Like someone hired a basket case who might be slightly compared with this bloke:

Blogger Content Policy

"Blogger is a free service for communication, self-expression and freedom of speech. We believe Blogger increases the availability of information, encourages healthy debate, and makes possible new connections between people.

We respect our users' ownership of and responsibility for the content they choose to share. It is our belief that censoring this content is contrary to a service that bases itself on freedom of expression.

In order to uphold these values, we need to curb abuses that threaten our ability to provide this service and the freedom of expression it encourages. As a result, there are some boundaries on the type of content that can be hosted with Blogger. The boundaries we've defined are those that both comply with legal requirements and that serve to enhance the service as a whole."

Haha, Yeah right.

The Bath school disaster.

For those of you who don't know Kevin and I recently join the south east michigan ghost hunting society. We went on our first investigation this past saturday to Bath michigan, to a little park which is the site of one of the worst school bombings in history. In 1927, and angry farmer Andrew Kehoe, blew up the bath school, and himself, after killing his wife and burning down his own house. He killed 45 some people, most of them being children under the age of 12.
Okay, here are our possible Bath EVPs.

First one:
http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm.php?get=1259586265.wav

Sounds like a scarey noise quickly followed by a kid screaming "Hey! Stop it!" I didnt remember anyone screaming like this, neither did Kevin.

Second:
http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm.php?get=872097879.wav

This was captured only a few minutes after the last one, it sounds to me like a man screaming "Lets go" three times in a row, but I could be wrong.

Third:

This one is really clear, Kevin and I were off by ourselves, I was seeing if I could get a kid to play with my flashlight. At the end you can here someone say "hmmm". Which wasn't either of us.

Fourth:

Again Kevin and I were sort of off by ourselves, over by the church. I was trying to get any spirit to walk by my EMF, and I get a pretty crazy conversation going. I say (The first time) "you have to come walk by this black box I have okay?" and quickly after I say okay you hear a quite little "kay" that sounds like a child. Then I say "Kevins making fun of me" and you hear some people who I know are over in the pavilion laughing, but theres a little "Ha, Hm" over their laughing that sounds closer to me. Then I say "My name is Autumn" and you can clearly hear a little voice respond, I think they're repeating my name, but I can't be sure. Photos coming soon.

IM GOING TO NEW YORK CITY.

For real this time. I bought the tickets, booked the hostel room (which is a block away from central park) and i've already got a ton of money saved up.

Kevin and I are going to the mermaid parade at coney island, and possibly going to see Andy Warhol's old factory, Lucky Luciano's grave, Parson's school of Design ( I have to atleast TRY to stalk Tim Gunn a little while i'm there), St. Marks Place, and the Jekyll and Hyde club. Among other things, no Woody Allen though, Jerk stops playing two weeks before I get there. We're going to try to go to a taping of a show too, maybe the colbert report or something.

Amongst all this, i'm almost okay that Eddie Izzard is going to be in michigan this sunday and I won't see him, almost. (o:

circus

Saturday night I went and DJ'd at the belmont, it was pretty good, maybe 200 people there. Actually that could be way off. Lets just say it was packed. Good crowd. Kevin and I got back to the little house about 4 am.

Then we got up and went to the circus the next day. When we got there we danced to the band that was playing, took photos of some clowns, and I actually ran into one of my favorite sideshow preformers, his name (or stage name) is Eak the Geek, I met him at coney island almost three years ago, he's got tattoos all over his face, and at the sideshow he did all sorts of things, like the bed of nails, and they'd electrocute and light a torch off his tounge while they did it. Amazing. We talked for a while, turns out he's going to law school here in lansing and wanted to volunteer to show people to their seats at the circus. It was brilliant, surely a sign that I need to get back to coney island before it closes.
The circus itself was really awesome, much better than last year. And I got better photos.

After we got mancinos and went back to the little house and watched movies, my allergies kicked in really bad after the circus. Kevin took good care of me.

Alsoooooo The carnivals are in town this week!! I'm so excited. I think Kevin and I are going to the skerbeck carnival on wednesday. Turns out i'll be there the exact same day I was last year. (o:

I've been on a few guest lists in my time, but i've never got to put anyone on the guest list before.

First post

Since my mother has become a total blog freak I thought i'd start one here too, to, you know, do some mom friendly blogs so she can see what i'm up to in an edited way. Since normally I blog on my myspace page. Anyway, hi mom.

I'm Autumn Luciano, it's not my real name, but just go with it. I'm a "professional" photographer and a student filmmaker. My room is purple, I have kitten named willow, and share two other cats with my boyfriend Kevin, named Bob and Samson. Kevin is an amazing boyfriend who I love with all my heart. I'm sure you'll all hear more than you care to about him.

We recently took a road trip to Pittsburgh PA with my friends Sara and Melissa. We went to the Andy Warhol museum (which has been a big dream of mine for a long time now) and I got to lie on the floor in the silver cloud room. It was pretty much a dream come true. I loved that I got to do that with Kevin there with me. I have a feeling that alot of things i've always wanted to do will get done with him around. He's always there helping me work towards the things I love.

We have a whole list of things that we want to do together, its probably 6 pages long by now. Things like ride in a hot air balloon, take a train to canada, visit coney island (which will hopefully happen this summer) go to gettysburgh (which may happen twice this year, atleast once for sure) become ghost hunters (already done!), start a kite flying society (working on it), and make a big garden behind the little house (the little house is the name of Kevin's house). We keep working towards alot of these things and more, and its all really exciting. My life has turnned around so much in the past few months, I guess you should always listen to your mother when it comes to the boyfriends you choose.

Anyway, heres some photos from my trip.
